With Fulham promoted back to the Premier League following their play-off final win, we can look forward to more encounters with the Cottagers - such as this 4-1 win at Goodison in December 2013. Goals from Leon Osman, Seamus Coleman, Gareth Barry and Kevin Mirallas rendered Dimitar Berbatov's penalty meaningless and earned all three points for Roberto Martinez's Blues.

Had to think back then. This was my birthday but it was a Friday night, I wasn't sure whether we played games on a Friday back then! Somehow we ended up in the Main Stand for this, great performance IIRC

The reason why we got so many goals was because of the wingers. Mirallas was unbelievable all season, Pienaar McGeady and Deulofeu all got goals/assists in spurts. McGeady changed games against Cardiff and Fulham and Pienaar did against Hull. And of course there was Barkley Lukaku and Naismith, supported by Moyes' defence and Barry and McCarthy.

Sukhdev R34 no we did better with less money under moyes we just relied and lukaku and got knocked out in the first round of both cups and couldn’t win away bang average season with no tactics or philosophy

@@lk3034 League form was great though. That's the main thing. We beat pretty much everyone at home except Liverpool and Chelsea. Away we could've been better especially later in the season, we could've kept Deulofeu to create more goals especially since Bolasie got injured. You're right the Moyes era was consistent though.
