EVERTON STADIUM LATEST FOOTAGE | Cabling marks another site milestone

The first permanent internal cabling has marked another milestone as the fit-out at Everton Stadium gathers pace.
Work is well underway on several levels in both the east and west stands, with ducting, wiring, walls and even lifts installations taking place.
The first lift is due to be commissioned this week and the wiring, for localised Wi-Fi boxes around the bowl, is yet another marker that the focus is now on turning the stadium build into a building.

Will it have solar PV panels on the roof? Will it harvest the rainwater from the roof to irrigate the pitch? Will it have under soil heating using heat-pumps. Will interior spaces such as dressing rooms, offices, shops, hospitality used heat-pump for space heating? Will it have battery storage to run facilities daly in winter after sundown and on match days? How integrated will it be with public transport?

Anybody hear of any update on how the construction is going against the schedule? It would be great to see ready for the start of 2024/2025 season, but with all major construction projects they rarely come in on time.

@@chrissanders1027 Thanks Chissanders, good to hear. I'm far from an expert, but it looks like a lot more than 12 months work to go. Same goes for Anfield, 7 weeks to start of season...?? But as I say, I do not work in construction, but follow and love the Drone videos on KZfaq.

It's not and was never scheduled to open for the 2024/25 season - the Timelapse construction 🚧 available on KZfaq showed it was complete or heading to completion Sept 2024; which was never going to permit test events etc required for safety certs for the new season - I don't like idea of moving mid season - great if first team squad could be based out of new stadium for training etc building up to the opening of the 25/26 season.

Spurs fan, I can tell you prepare yourself for 2025/26 season. Even when the Spurs stadium actually looked finished it then took another year as the internal fittings and e.g electrics take a lot of time.

All seems to be about the Dock ground nobody seems to be mentioning the road outside the Dock ground if everton move ground and they leave that road as it is outside ground its going to take hours getting to the match and the same getting to houses after the match plus the rail network won't be able to handle the crowds eg match people and people leaveing work etc its going to be chaos your going to have 30 thousand cars maybe more plus coaches etc decending there the congestion is going to be horrendous and there is very limited parking outside or near the dock ground

Lower tier terracing still to be installed and you fail to get a true sense of the scale of the site from these videos. The ground and site is huge when visited in person.

Be great if we actually signed some players, great seeing the stadium but it's just a distraction to us signing nobody, basically just doing an Everton as usual
