Everton produced a battling away performance to twice come from behind and earn a valuable point with a 2-2 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
A performance full of grit, character and moments of quality was crowned with just a minute of normal time remaining. Ellis Simms - back at the scene where he made his senior Everton debut in December 2021 - stepped off the bench to coolly slot a deserved late equaliser.

Simms finish was sublime. Been following him since his 40+ goal a season academy days. Made up for him. Love the graft on that play though too from douks and gray putting in the "hard yards" to get into the box for any spillage from the keeper. Missed this Everton

Made up for Simms BUT let's not start piling the pressure on the young lad now like we have in the past with previous youth talent. Let's be patient, he might not bag another for a few games now but let's not get hostile about it.

Doucoure has 2 goals and 2 assists in our last 3 games, right? He definitely isn't someone I thought could step up to that degree, but I'm always chuffed when someone outperforms expectation! He's never lacked for effort, but Dyche seems to have lifted his confidence in the same way Lampard did with Iwobi.

somebody should tell goalkeeper that when somebody shot like that he should use his left leg not arm to save gol...you can see best on 8:32 if he use left leg he could save no problem
