I love the way he talks about goodison and it being a home. I honestly dont think they could have found a better guy than dan meis for the job. I cant wait to see it and i cant wait to go there once built

I like this guy, said all the right things. Will he deliver something that feels like home, not just a state of the art building? Time will tell, I certainly hope so.

As an Architect myself, I love what Dan has said here. No pretentious BS. Just what the new stadium requires. Wish my project lead architects were like Dan. As an Everton fan... I'm sooo excited to see the new vision for us.

Top English teams have either moved into stadiums that was built for other events, while others have built stadiums for corporates, Everton were the first in England to build a purpose built stadium, will we be the first to build a supporters stadium in the UK?

A waterfront stadium will be unique to the PL, Spurs new ground is gonna have this proximity to the pitch so its not gonna be unique in that sense.

To be the fair the 'magic atmosphere' of Goodison from what i've experienced as an away fan is basically 90 mins of silence unless you're winning. So hopefully it won't be a larger scale version of that.
