This is the Onana we want to see the whole season

At 2:23 you can see the play that was shown being practiced in the last released video on KZfaq. Iwobi plays a through ball on the outside of a defender to be picked up by Onana who is running off of the inside shoulder. It’s well executed and you can really see the change that all that practice has brought about. It doesn’t seem to be Iwobi’s original intention, rather he was planning to use his pace to take the ball up the pitch but it’s good to see Onana improvising and the drill has probably been embedded in everyone’s brains by now so it’s become natural and the transition was seamless. COYB! Edit: it appears again at 4:58 and this time it is intentional.

Outside of Dom, Doucs is our only other threat inside the box, thats not gonna cut it. We need a couple more signings up front and in defense.

I genuinely dont see where all the excitement and optimism is coming from. Calvert Lewin wont last two games and the squad is by and large what we finished with last term. What am I missing?

I watched Fulham's friendly against Hoffenheim yesterday, and although they improved in the second half there was nothing that should scare the Blues next week. They (Fulham) covered the ground quickly enough up to the edge of the box but then ran out of ideas for any finish, especially in the first half. I'd like to see at least one more attacking option being signed asap (of course we all would) but a low scoring win should be the most likely result. COYB.
